HI, I'M RAYMOND
I am a personal trainer and nutrition advisor in Ayr, Scotland, where I balance my roles as a devoted husband and father of two.
While I have always been passionate about sports and was a competitive swimmer in my youth, life took me on different paths, including being a student, an architect, and eventually a dad. Along this journey, I lost focus on my fitness and health, realizing that I wasn't becoming the person I aspired to be, particulalry in my roles as a husband and father.

This realization prompted me to reevaluate my priorities and consider how I could better care for myself, set a positive example for my daughters, and ensure a long and healthy life. Out of this introspection, I founded DARE2BI where I have dedicated my time to sharing my knowledge and expertise. My aim is to assist others in achieving their fitness goals, reclaiming lost vitality, and ultimately reach the best condition of their lives, regardless of age.
My coaching philosophy stresses a holistic approach, that addresses various facets of life, including strength and movement performance, sleep and stress management, hydration, and nutrition. I firmly believe in the transformative power of small habits and the cumulative impact of gradual changes. Rather than advocating extremes, I promote consistency, underlining the importance of honest communication in the journey towards optimal well-being.
F A Q
WHERE DO YOU TRAIN CLIENTS?

I run training sessions at 'HY Performance Club', 62 Viewfield Road, Ayr, KA8 8HH (formerly LivFit Training Academy).

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO TRAIN WITH YOU?

This depends on your goals. I would recommend for beginners at least 2 sessions per week, so that we can run through everything you need to know to allow you to train efficiently on your own. However, it really depends on your circumstances and what you want to achieve. We can create fantastic results with 1 PT session per week, complimented with additional sessions on your own.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A GYM MEMBERSHIP TO TRAIN WITH YOU?

No, a gym membership is not required to train with me. However, if you want to use the gym outwith PT sessions you would need to be a member. You can also be a member at another gym and still come along and train with me at HY Performance Club.

DOES IT MATTER IF I'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE GYM?

Absolutely not! I am here to help anyone of any level to achieve their goals. It's never too late to start training. In fact, beginners often see the best results.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A PT SESSION?

A personal training session will normally last for one hour. This will follow along the lines of a brief warm-up followed by your main training programme where you will focus on your goals using cardiovascular, strength or flexibility exercises. Finally there will be a cool down or relaxation period. Programmes may vary from one session to the next according to your needs and progress.
